Cabizo is breaking for the lead. And true to his trainer's prediction, Phar Lap emerged with the field just fine but Phar Lap has been cut off by the outside horses, and he's dropping back, coming down past the grandstand the first time, Phar Lap is fully 50 yards behind the pack!

Going into the first turn, Cabizo is still leading….. Wait a minute,(hahaha), Phar Lap is now going to the extreme outside for an inspection tour of the track!

Settling down the backside, Cabizo just leads Merrine, Scimitar and Good and Hot, Phar Lap is still well back... . They're going towards the turn now, Cabizo is still leading with Phar Lap out wide and a long way back.

We're moving to the 6 furlong marker now and WHOOOOOOOOOA! What the heck was that?

Phar Lap has bounded into the lead and I didn't even see him making his move he was going so fast! ….. A veritable blur! …..What a fantastic move, absolutely mind-boggling! Reveille Boy is moving and trying to go with him….

Phar Lap is now pulling away from the field! Phar Lap's got it!
